Kendra Walker was born in Toronto, Canada. She studied art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and went on to get two masters degrees, one in Urban Planning (Montreal/Paris), and the other Art History and Theory in Paris, where she currently resides. Her work has been exhibited in Chicago, Montreal, Moscow and Paris.
