This project unfolds in two parts: the first involves the washing of a defunct industrial salt-processing machine, part of which is featured in the video; the second unfolds in response to the resultant “discovery” of a subfloor under the centrifuge of the machine for which a hardwood floor was created.

This piece is a permanent installation in Alte Saline, Pernerinsel, Hallein, Austria.
